Luminary Counseling and Consulting provides mental health services to Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas. We hope to serve as a resource to individuals, families, and young people who are navigating all the different spaces that exist in our ever changing community and world.

Insurance Questions
Insurance can feel overwhelming and tricky. Here are some FAQs that we encourage you to ask your insurance provider in order to get a better idea of how insurance can work for you at Luminary:
Does my plan include mental health benefits?
How much will my copay be for each visit?
Is there a limit to how many sessions a week, month, or year that are covered?What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor or anyone else in order to be covered?
In-Network Insurance Plans
Right now, Luminary is in-network with the following insurance companies, and will file claims for each visit.
Aetna
Blue Cross
For all other insurance companies we are considered out-of-network. We are happy to provide you with appropriate documents needed to file an out-of-network claim, but are unable to file for you.
