Insurance Questions

Insurance can feel overwhelming and tricky. Here are some FAQs that we encourage you to ask your insurance provider in order to get a better idea of how insurance can work for you at Luminary:

  • Does my plan include mental health benefits?

  • How much will my copay be for each visit?

  • Is there a limit to how many sessions a week, month, or year that are covered?What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor or anyone else in order to be covered?

In-Network Insurance Plans

Right now, Luminary is in-network with the following insurance companies, and will file claims for each visit.

  • Aetna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

For all other insurance companies we are considered out-of-network. We are happy to provide you with appropriate documents needed to file an out-of-network claim, but are unable to file for you.
